My sister makes this yummy appetizer. Never has any leftover.
Make and share this Hot Crab Meat Dip recipe from Food.com.
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 7 ounces crabmeat
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1⁄2 teaspoon creamed horseradish
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- Mix all ingredients.
- Pour into casserole dish.
- Bake at 375 degrees F oven for 15 minutes.
- Serve with crackers.
This was great. Very easy to prepare and was well received at the function that I served it at. It would be great when you need something quick to take to a party but don't want to take a bag of chips. The dip was very creamy and smooth. I think that you could easily add a jar of drained artichoke hearts and make it a crab-artichoke dip. I could not taste the horseradish but my husband commented that he like the addition of the horseradish. I might add 1 tsp to give it a bit more zing. THanks for a great recipe, SlyGirl!
