  • 7.39 ml cocoa
  • 22.18 ml sugar (more or less to taste)
  • 0.25 ml salt
  • 59.14 ml water
  • 177.44 ml milk

directions

  • Mix the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Boil for 2 minutes.
  • Add the milk.
  • Heat, but do not boil.
  • Serve.

  2. I used a small envelop of sugar twin. And I used skim milk. I tasted it and I added another 1/2 tablespoon of cocoa and I prefered it that way. This is very easy to do and fast. Thanks Snowpeas :) Made for PAC Spring 2010
     
  3. Before there was instant powder, we did it this way. The key element in this recipe is dissolving the cocoa in hot water before mixing in the milk: one of those things every cook should know how to do. It's just a little more work but it's better cocoa, too. Enjoyed three times in three days for Pick A Chef Spring 2008.
