The Healing Herbs Cookbook Serves 4
- 3 cups red wine
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- fresh ginger (1 inch piece, sliced)
- fresh turmeric, root (1 inch piece, sliced â Optional)
- In saucepan, combine wine, cinnamon, ginger and turmeric. Cover and heat gently.
- Remove from heat and allow to stand, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Strain and pour into 4 heated mugs.
