Hot Chocolate recipe from the side of a can of cocoa.
- Whisk sugar, cocoa, water and salt together over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Add milk and heat until warm.
This hot chocolate is very good. It has a rich texture even if I used skim milk. I omitted the salt. And I used half sugar. Thanks Oak Knoll Mom :) Made for PAC Spring 2010
Great hot chocolate recipe, so I guess that's why it was printed on the side of a box of cocoa. LOL! For a change up I added some almond extract like was suggested by Theresa B. This recipe was made for the Comfort Cafe's tag game.
I make this cocoa every year for my kids after the first snow fall. The only thing that I do different is add a teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract just before serving. Almond is wonderful. Top with whipped topping or mini marshmellows
