  1. I tried this christmas day, every one loved it. They ask for it every weekend. I will fix again, thanks

  2. Yum

  3. Beautiful hot chocolate recipe. I enjoyed having it on hand to just pour a cup and reheat whenever I felt like it and I added in some caramel topping to some of my servings and it was just delicious. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Smooth & rich, this creamy cocoa is almost as easy as using a packet. But the quality & knowing exactly what's in it is so worth a few extra minutes. I had about 13 oz of a 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk to use up & I searched out some recipes to use it in. I'm so glad my family voted on the hot cocoa instead of fudge! (I didn't adjust the other ingredients to match the missing ounce of milk.) This was my toddler's first hot cocoa experience & it's very clear that I'll never get her to drink it from a packet now. She hasn't stopped singing, "Cocoa! Cocoa! Cocoa!" in about 30 minutes! LOL Good thing all of these ingredients are easily kept on hand. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Jan!

i just got engaged to the man i've had a crush on since 1st grade. i'm a homemaker and help my father raise my 12 year old sister. it's so weird to see her go through what i went through just 8 years ago! we lost my mother a couple of years ago so that's when i taught myself to cook. i never got a chance to learn before because she insisted she cooked. i love cooking & i suppose i'm somewhat of a foodie. i LOVE the food network & i LOVE trying new recipes even more! i have a siamese mix cat named who. she's about a year now and i've raised her from birth. she's quite exceptional & one of a kind. when i'm in the kitchen she's never too far away. but neither is my pomerainian fred. he's a little over 5 months old and much more trouble than the cat! i guess i'm here for people who are more like me as i don't seem to fit in with my friends anymore because i'm more interested in trying that great new recipe with my little sister than going to that party on friday.
