You won't have any leftovers when you take this to your next football party. I make a small bowl of it without onions and green peppers for my husband and I and add them to the rest of it, for everyone else. I double the recipe, put our portion in one of those teeny crockpots and the rest of it in the bigger one. It works! This is from HyVee cookbook, submitted by Connie Visek and Sandra Long. Thanks Connie and Sandra!

This was excellent. I did not add the green pepper because some people can't eat them. I only used a 10 oz can of chicken. It was a great hit at our work birthday celebration carry in. I am hearing that it is the best thing I ever made. Thank you.

This is a Super recipe! I've never made it with green pepper, I use a small can of chopped green chilies. And I use about half & half Velveeta or cheddar and hot pepper cheese. Also add a few dashes of Texas Pete. It's always requested at our neighborhood get togethers. (Now I have to try it with green pepper!)
