Serve over your ice-cream as you would a hot choc sauce. A good substitute for a chocolate sauce for those with restricted diets
- Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan.
- Stir gentley over a low heat until the mixture is creamy.
- Serve immediately, poured over your ice-cream.
Tasty. Kind of thin but it gets thicker on cooling. Not caroby enough to compete with other flavours so I guess this is best on vanilla ice cream. DD (4 years) and I had this over cold sliced banana and she liked it a lot. I do not believe this makes 4 servings at all more like 1 for us, maybe 2 for some. I added a bit of sea salt my pure butter was not salted.
This is pretty good. It did not get very thick - I think I will try using some type of milk instead of water next time for more flavor.
