This is another recipe of my grandmother's. It is very tasty.
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 jar dried beef
- 1 (3 ounce) cansliced mushrooms
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Cook onion in margarine until tender.
- Stir in milk and cream cheese.
- Mix until blended.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Serve hot with rye or pumpernickle bread.
