  1. Place apple juice, cinnamon sticks, lemon juice, vanilla extract, allspice and ground cardamom in a medium saucepan.
  2. Warm 2-3 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until mixture is hot and the spices are well blended.
  3. Add schnapps, if using.
  4. Divide between 4 mugs and top with frozen yogurt.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. Note: The cocktail can also be served cold.
