  2. mix spices together, add walnuts, drizzle with oil.
  3. spread out on a baking sheet, bake for 20 minutes until lightly toasted, stirring twice cool in pan for 15 minutes, then turn onto paper towels to cool completely.

I added extra spices and melted butter and added it to the oil. I like my hot. I put all the ingredients into a zip lock bag then tossed to coat evenly. Thanks for good healthy munchies!

very easy to make, used only l/8 tsp. cayenne and substituted almonds for the walnuts. very satisfying and fun to make. will keep recipe handy.

I followed the recipe exactly. The walnuts were nice and crispy, a little spicy, but a little bitter, too. I think the cardamon was the culprit, as it overpowered the cumin and cayenne. To me, these were not hot.
