Delicious, easy and lucky (black eyed peas)! I used canned, rinsed black eyed peas and some prepared brown rice. The seasoning suggestions are perfect, too. Delicious! Thank you!

This is a nice short cut to the long slow cook traditional version. Will serve tomorrow along with Tasty Frozen Collard Greens to usher in a prosperous New Year, thanks for the post. P.S. forgot to say I used brown rice. ;)

Easy and yummy. I added some kale and had a very satisfying meal for two busy days. The recipe may be simple, but I love plain food with only some simple ingredients which you can just throw together on busy workdays. Thanks for sharing!<br/>Made for Sweet December Game.

This was a nice recipe. I added the garlic and a green pepper as well. Posted for PAC 2009. Thanks.
