ingredients
- 2 ounces silver rum (light rum)
- 1 teaspoon grenadine
- 1⁄2 slice pineapple
- 1 1⁄2 ounces lemon juice
directions
- Blend all ingredients with 12 oz. glass of shaved ice in blender until liquid is semi-frozen.
- Serve in a stemmed cocktail glass.

I put Sister #2 in a hammock in my backyard woodlands with a Lulu in hand and she started swinging. Next thing I know, she crashed into the tree trunk. Concussion and all, I still feel sorry for those that live in the land of no trees. Give her another drink, will ya? Made for Everyday Is A Holiday. -
Great tart drink alligirl, flavorful and delicious. After reading the other reviews, I added some wild flower honey to sweeten the drink. It was wonderful. It made me a nice big tall drink. Thanks so much for sharing another winner. Made for Fall Pac 2012 -
Beautiful color, nice and frothy but boy I had to go back and add more grenadine and some pineapple juice to it. Next time I will not add that much lemon juice. I would probably make this again. -
What a fun treat this hot evening! And it is SUCH a pretty pink color! I did add a little extra pineapple juice and a little extra grenadine to sweeten it up (perhaps my pineapple wasn't quite to it's prime). Thanks for posting! Made for the Emerald Shakers for ZWT7.

My parents owned a grocery store when I was growing up, so there's my love of FOOD! My friends all love to drink, so there's my profession! I stopped bartending 5 years ago, when my son was born, but still 'do' private parties. DH and I did a 'Supper Club' for a while, but life kept getting in the way!
I am a SAHM, to a rambunctious 5 y.o....I LOVE cooking and collect cookbooks and anything kitchen related! I'm kinda picky, but will just drop an ingredient or make a sub, so I can still try a recipe.
I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment here, and hope to participate in some events soon!
