This is sooo good. I'm 13 & I made this & both my family and I enjoyed it a lot. It's almost better than what we always order at the Chinese restaurant! But good enough. :) Thanks for the recipe! (& I think I used more mayo and sweetened condensed milk)

There were GREAT!!! DH and I loved getting this from a chinese restaurant in California and this tasted almost exactly like the real thing! I didn't bother frying the walnuts either - I just sauteed in a little butter with sugar and then drizzled in honey. I did think the mayo taste in the sauce was a tad strong so I ended up adding more condensed milk. Next time I will use equal amounts mayonnaise and condensed milk. I'm so happy to find this recipe!!!!

We have traditionally ordered these Shrimp when at Asian Restaurants so thought I would give a try. Fantastic! Used Pecans in place of the Walnuts and made this even richer. Worth repeating.

I have now tried too many honey walnut prawn recipes. Nothing comes close to what I get at the Chinese restaurant up the road a ways. I added more condensed milk because I could see that what I had wasn't going to be enough. Still, this wasn't anywhere near what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing anyway.

We used to eat at a Chinese place in Vegas and we'd pay $40 a plate for this, served with white rice and broccolli....this is just as good if not better...we were having withdrawls moving back to Idaho and not have a China Doll here! Wish we had found this recipe before, would have saved some money. This was so good we tried it with cubed chicken and rolled it in cocconut before frying--wonderful! Thanks for posting!

This was really good. We had this once at a oriental restaurant and i have been craving it ever since. This was almost as good if not better since you can adjust to your taste. I made one with vinegar and one with lemon juice. I liked the one with the lemon juice better since the the vinegar taste was a little to noticeable for me. DH loved it and made sure i added it to our keeper book of recipes. thanks for the recipe.
