taste great !! only thing I worry bout is the amount of sodium there... is that with the meat ?
I made this sauce to accompany a fillet of grilled Coho salmon, and it was incredible! I cut back on the honey to about a third of a cup, but oterwise followed exactly as written. This sauce is so good that I was sticking my fingers in the sauce to lick the sauce off them before the fish came off the grill...it was that good. This recipe goes into my T&T collection for sure! Thanks for shaing!
I have always bought KC Masterpiece Honey Teriyaki Marinade....NEVER AGAIN!!! This is the fantastic!!! One of the best sauces I've ever tried! They aren't kidding when they say this sauce will have you licking the bowl/plate!!! YUM!!
I made a half batch to use in Mongolian Grill Feast and it was very tasty. The sauce is very, very sweet and is loaded with flavor. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
I used this as a marinade so I left out the green onions and the cornstarch, and sesame seeds at the end. I didn't have fresh oranges so used 1/2 a cup of orange juice. I kept all the other ingredients the same and marinated 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts for at least 48 hrs in a 3qt covered bowl in the fridge. I should have pricked the breasts to let in more of the marinade, this was soooo good! I baked the chicken and sliced it to use in Chinese Crunch Salad. Previously used Jack Daniel's Honey Teriyaki Marinade (which is expensive), so was looking for a homemade honey teriyaki recipe to try as a marinade. The salad had green onions and sesame seeds already, so I didn't need to add more. Thanks Kittencal, this was absolutely delicious and got raves from my mom and my bf as well. :)
Just wanted to say this sauce is so good that one could lick the bowl (maybe I did!). Roxygirl
Kitten! This is delish! I made this over noodles and steamed vegetables, and it was great. I would suggest (if serving over noodles)to spread lightly; this stuff is strong! Great recipe and thanks for sharing!
