These are so so so good! I am always trying to find recipes mimicking foods that my son and spouse like to order when out. My son is a Subway addict and this recipe is PERFECT! I usually try to make recipes better but there is nothing to fix here! I made them for Boxing day turkey and ham sandwiches and everyone was ooohing and ahhhing over them. THANK YOU!!

Every time I make these, my husband says that this is his favorite bun from Subway. My MIL wanted to know how I got Subway to sell me their buns. These are SO good!

This is a great recipe! I made four big loaves yesterday, they were delicious. The only change I made was using the bead flour, because I don't AP flour at home. But they taste just fine. Thank you Uncle Bill.

Got a man that can barbecue, but would love one that can bake. Made for Alphabet Soup Tag.

MMM MMM. I have never ordered the Honey Oatmeal bread from Subway before but this is delicious! I couldn't wait to bite into one of these when it came out the oven, so I sliced cheese and slathered some butter in one of the buns and dug in. MMM...crusty on the outside, soft on the inside - great flavour! I made 6 inch buns out the recipe and used recipe #265351 for the egg wash. Worked out perfectly! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe! Made for Cookbook Tag.

I halved this recipe and am sad that I did. This is the best roll recipe I have ever had in my entire life! Thank you so much. I have no idea what subway bread tastes like since I am a celiac, but they smelled exactly like subway when I walk by it daily, Thank you so much Uncle Bill!

Wonderful! They are sweeter than I expected, but still delicious plain or for sandwiches. I used 3 cups of white flour, 1 cup oat flour (just toss some oatmeal in the blender to make it), and the rest whole-wheat flour.

Excellent sandwich buns Uncle Bill. I would make 10 buns the next time because 8 buns came out too big for individual sandwiches. This would also make great hamburger buns. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Light, tasty and so good! I used a ratio of 4 cups white flour to 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour. This bread has a wonderful sweetness. Thank you Uncle Bill for posting this. (Your bread recipe was used in my copycat Subway sandwich recipe.)

Great Sub Rolls! I have made a batch of these each week for the past 4 weeks, and they come out great each time. The only change I make is that I turn the recipe into 6 rolls, as I like them a bit bulkier than they came out in an 8-roll batch. Thanks a lot for sharing!
