Great recipe! I was looking for something that didn't take bread flour or milk because I was out. This was perfect. Great bread for sandwiches, its got a good fluffy consistency without a lot of air pockets. But its good plain or with butter, too. The sweetness isn't too much.

FINALLY a bread recipe that blows me away. I wasn't sure what to expect but this bread came out excellent. It was moist and tasty. I didn't change a thing and it came out great.

I've also been enjoying this recipe for years...found it in Taste of Home. The honey gives it great flavor and keeps it moist. The recipe I have calls for 1 1/4 cups of water instead of 1 1/2 cups, but otherwise the recipe is identical. Thank you so very much for posting this!

Very good bread, but a tad sweet with the 1/2 c. honey. My husband really liked it. I cut it with my electric knife and it comes out great, any thickness(or thinness) I want.
