  1. Wow! All I can say is thank you Kimme! I just bought a bread machine (like it arrived from Amazon today) and this was my very first loaf and it is HEAVENLY! My husband (who is strickly a Bunny Bread kind of guy) even thought it was great and stole my whole first slice! I did cheat and use the rapid rising yeast so I could do the 2-hr cycle and I did Medium crust because I like a crusty bread - and I forgot the oil - however when I made it again with the oil it didn't turn out well, and I've made it several more times without the oil and it's been perfect everytime. Again all I can say is YUM! Thanks Kimme - this is a definite keeper! :)

  2. Kimmie that was a BIG 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread. It was more like a 2 pound loaf. It overflowed my bread machine! It has a nice sweet taste and will make great toast, but I will cut the recipe in half next time. Thanks, Carole in Orlando

  4. Downright heavenly. . .probably the BEST bread I have ever made in my ABM!!! I cut the recipe in half and made just a 1 lb loaf. This recipe was in the recipe book that came along with my bread maker. I used yeast for the bread machine (I think it may be a rapid rise, but I am not sure( with awesome results. Will most certainly make this one over and over!!!!! NOTE: We just used some of the bread the dreaded "day after". . .still soft and made great toast!

  5. I hate to give this a bad review, so I will start by saying it tastes good. However, I had alot of trouble with either the recipe or my machine. The first attempt, didn't cook all the way in the middle, so the second attempt I did on the dough cycle, and baked in the oven. It is edible, but not what I wanted. I'll have to try again.
