- 1⁄3 cup honey
- 1⁄3 cup salad oil
- 1⁄3 cup Heinz apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon hot mustard (optional)
- to taste garlic powder
- to taste salt
- 1 clove whole garlic
- Blend all ingredients well.
- Drop a whole clove of garlic in dressing (don't cut up).
Good flavor, easy and makes a good amount of dressing. I would like to try adding the hot mustard next time as I didn't think it had enough bite to it. I was looking for something a little thicker, but this was good too.
I miss my home grown garden salad this time of the year. This recipe made the store bought salad stuff tolerable. We loved it. It's good dipping sause for chicken according to the Grands!
I planted lettuce this week and can't wait to use it on some proper produce!
