Honey Mustard Barbecue Sauce

Another easy recipe. Use your imagination and personal taste. For a bit of variety try using different flavored mustards and a dash or two of hot sauce in this sauce.

• Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 1.5 cups

• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 large onion , chopped
• 2 cloves garlic , minced
• ½ cup dijon-style mustard
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• ¼ cup cider vinegar
• ¼ cup honey
• 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• Tabasco sauce (try a 1/2 teaspoon at a time) or any other hot pepper sauce (optional)

Directions:

1. Saute the onion and garlic in the oil over low heat for 5 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for ten minutes.
