Sweet and tangy. I would serve these with vanilla ice cream! Inspired by Disney's Pass the Plate series for Australia.

  1. Peel bananas.
  2. Halve lengthways.
  3. Spray with the cooking spray.
  4. Combine honey and lime juice in a small bowl, and set aside.
  5. Prepare grill, and upon reaching 350 degrees, place bananas on grill cut side down.
  6. Grill for 2 minutes, brush with the honey lime sauce, turn.
  7. Grill for 2 minutes on round side, brush with remaining sauce.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Tastes ok and I found the bananas just fell apart when I tried heating them up. Not easy. And I think if you are cooking them at 350 you have to use ice cream otherwise you just end up eating burnt bananas. :(

Tangy, tasty and super simple! This is a nice way to get an extra fruit serving in...I quartered the recipe and had it for breakfast (indoor grill) and it was yummy! It would be good with yogurt also. I will be making this again and again. Thanks, Yogachef, for a delicious addition to my cookbook! Made for ZWT 5.
