A 'sweet' dish of carrots with the option of sesame seed.

  1. Peel the carrots and cut into serving size pieces.
  2. Steam or boil until just tender.
  3. Drain carrots.
  4. Add honey and stir carrots until they are coated with honey.
  5. If using sesame seed, add sesame seed to carrot/honey mix and stir.
  6. Serve immediately.

This was a lovely side dish. I just used the honey and left out the sesame seed as it wouldn't have gone with the rest of the meal. The honey adds a very subtle extra flavour and sweetness to the already naturally sweet carrots. Thanks for sharing.

We are cleaning out our garden and I used this recipe to finish off some of our fresh carrots. I peeled and slice the carrots using a crinkle cutter and used clover honey. I left off the sesame seeds and these were perfect. Thanks!
