      These cookies came out very "cakey" (soft and dry). The honey flavor is good but overall the cookies were too bland and dry for my taste. I probably won't make them again. I baked them at 350 degrees F (the closest conversion to 180 degrees celsius)since I'm in the US and don't have celsius degrees on my oven.

      180C=356F, that's really NOT a big difference for cookies. Candy, yes, cookies, not so much. Also, if the cookies are dry, try the following: Butter instead of oil, more honey, a little less flour, or a reduced oven temp/baking time. I'm sure that will work fine. Sometimes you need to use a little logic and not be so obsessed with sticking to the recipe. I'm sure the above will work. I am a Culinary Institute of America Baking and Pastry graduate...so I more or less know what I am talking about. I for one, can't wait to try these cookies.

      right after they come out of the oven, try brushing them with honey butter. thats what my mom does
