This recipe does not state what size cake tin to use so you will need to eyeball the mixture and decide for yourself, I think a ring tin would be good.

Delicious. Like gingerbread but with an undertone of honey instead of molasses. I used recipe #370653 for the mixed spice, baked it at 350 degrees F., used all regular flour (white whole wheat) but with a self-rising recipe substitute. It baked completely in an hour. It is moist and the top carmelizes delightlfully. ZWT6

  1. Mix eggs and sugar.
  2. Add oil,bicarb, spices, cocoa, honey and flours.
  3. Add boiling water.
  4. Grease cake tin, line with baking parchment.
  5. Pour in cake mix.
  6. Bake 180 C for 1 - 1/2 hours.
