- 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper sauce (to taste)
- 6 kaiser rolls, split
- Mix all ingredients (except the rolls) in a 2 quart saucepan.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until hot.
- Fill each roll with about 1/2 c chicken mixture and serve immediately.
We loved these. This was the hit of our appetizer night. I served it on little slider buns. I cut the recipe in half and I've got leftovers. I used some leftover rotisserie chicken. What an easy dish to prepare. Thanks for posting. :)
Easy recipe to prepare 1/3 for solo diners. I served a 1 cup portion on a sub roll, with cole slaw and a pickle spear. I enjoyed a quick and tasty supper. Thanks for sharing Hokie! Made and enjoyed for PAC Spring '09.
Mmmmm-mmmm. I love the recipe for a sweet tasting bbq chicken. I can turkey to keep on hand for all year round. So, this is what I used and it was just the ticket. I actually doubled the recipe as I knew it would go over in a big way with the men of the family. I used hoagie buns instead of kaiser. Very filling and satisfying. I also did this in the crock-pot for more convenience for a busy time of year. Perfect....Thanks Melly~ Made for PotluckTag~
