I loved the flavors of honey and soy sauce!! Instead of baking it in the oven, to speed things up, I cooked the chicken in a little olive oil on top of the stove, then mixed it with the sauce and baked it in the oven for about 10 minutes. Yum!! :-)

This is very nicely flavoured chicken. The sauce is a bit thin and didn't stick to the chicken as much as some do. I did find that basting it as I took it out of the oven and letting it rest for several minutes did allow the sauce to get a bit thicker and stickier. Thanks Ev, for a very good dinner!

We really enjoyed this recipe. I had to make one adjustment, that being I substituted orange juice for the lemon juice when I realized I had no lemons or juice. This was made for ZTW3.

I have pretty much weaned myself from salt, so the soy sauce in this recipe made this dish just a bit too salty for me. Next time I will reduce the amount of soy sauce I use. Having said that, this was a nice recipe and the chicken was quite tasty. Like one of the other reviewers, I poured the grease from the pan before adding the sauce (in an effort to cut calories) and it didn't seem to interfere with the overall taste of the chicken.

I picked DH up from work while these were baking. He came home dead tired, got a sniff of me (eau de honey and soy;) perked right up and started drooling. I used 9 chicken thighs and removed the skin and drained the pan of grease before adding the sauce. I increased the garlic a bit and next time might cut back on the butter just a touch because I had quite a bit of sauce. Cooked at 365* in my convection oven and it was perfect. Served with steamed rice and curried yam and mango soup for a stick to your ribs kind of meal. Definitely going into my regular rotation!

Nice flavor, although I found 400F to be a bit too hot of an oven temp. Next time I think I will adjust the temp to 375. Thank you for sharing.
