We really enjoyed this. It sure was easy to prepare. The meat was a tab bit on the dry side so I served it with some of the delicious juice. Yum! Thanks for posting. :)

I like that you basically don't have to do much for this dish and it comes out so moist and tastey!! I used a prepared honey mustard rather than yellow or dijon; next time I will drain the juices from the chicken before adding the honey mixture. Made for Everyday Holiday.

I said, "Self." Self said, "Huh?" I replied, "I think I found something special and most definitely will make this again." Self nodded assuredly. Made for Everyday Is A Holiday.

The is a very easy and wonderful flavored baked chicken. I was extremely surprised after the meat was cooked how much I loved the flavor. I had made the mistake of tasting the hot sauce before it was cooked with the chicken and did not like the taste then. But oh my, after cooking it was fabulous and we also drizzled it on our Jasmine rice. The only change I made was that I added salt and pepper to the meat before putting into the oven for the first baking. This will definitely become one of our regular dishes. Thanks Sydney Mike...wonderful dish.

Very good & easy! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is just because I'm just not used to sweet meats so it kind of throws me for a loop...but picky 8YO son LOVED this! Thanks for sharing!

Hey Syd - this made a great dinner for my family. We are not huge mustard fans so I was concerned but really it is a nice light flavor. I think next time I'll cut the honey back just a bit (maybe a 1/4 cup) but outside of that I'll definitely be making this recipe again. Used ingredients exactly as written. Made for the Zaar Stars tag game!

Delicious: loved the wonderful blend of flavours from the honey and mustard. :) We enjoyed this with my Rosemary & Pine Nut Mashed Potatoes and Recipe #280767. From reading the recipe, I just knew we needed something to help absorb that yummy honey/mustard sauce. As other reviewers have recommended: don't skip the basting; it ensures that the chicken is moist and that it looks sensational! Thank you so much for a wonderful dish, Sydney Mike! Made for Zaar Stars Tag.

The verdict is in and it was unanimous, 5 stars for your recipe. I appreciated the fact that I always have this ingredients on hand, no last minute run to the store. I used 3 hind quarters to make mine. Basting the chicken as it bakes helps give it a golden brown finish, not to mention a wonderful flavor. This is true weather you leave the skin on or remove it before baking. The only thing I might try, is to cut the sauce done by 25% and put the chicken into a little smaller baking dish. Don't skip the basting, as it adds the wonderful visual statement to your meal. Made for *Gimme 5 Game 2009* game

Loved this! I did cut back a little on the honey to 1/2 cup, and increase the mustard to 1/4 cup otherwise made as directed. I kept a fairly close eye on the chicken after adding the sauce and basted about every 10 minutes. This was so delicious Syd! Thank you!!! I will be making this again!! Made for 1.2.3 Hits

This was good and easy to make. I wish I would have read the reviews before making as this was a bit sweet and next time I would cut back on the honey. This was a nice, different way for us to enjoy chicken. Made for AUS/NZ swap.

This was tasty and EASY. I used 1/2 honey and 1/2 BBQ sauce, and thickened up the sauce with cornstarch a bit because it was a bit too thin for me. Came out great and I'll make again! Thanks Sydney!

I'm glad I'm the first to review this recipe because all that follow will agree. This was the best tasting chicken dish that I've had in a long time. Easy to put together with basic ingredients that most people have in their home. I used only half of the 1 cup of honey that it called for which was a good choice because this amount was just enough of sweetness. I used bone-in chicken (5 pcs).
