Honestly the Most Terrific Brownies Ever

"I have certainly made many a disaster when trying to come up with a new recipe... like the time I made hotdogs, canned potatoes and cream of mushroom soup... But I finally came up with one that not only I like, everyone else really likes too! And it's so darn easy!!"

directions

  • Melt the butter.
  • Mix all the ingredients. They don't need to be mixed separately.
  • Glob into a buttered cake pan. I prefer the silicone ones myself.
  • Bake at 350 F for 25-29 minutes. When you pull these out, they will be gooey. The only downside to these brownies is they have to be totally cooled down before you can eat them. Otherwise, they are a gooey mess.

  1. These turned out too dry, but the taste was ok.

  2. These really are terrific! I think the vanilla amount may be a misprint and should be 2 teaspoons. I baked in a pottery brownie pan that is about 6X9, and increased the time by 5 minutes due to the dark material, PERFECT every time!

I love to cook. Like, really love it. I guess I always did. I come from a southern family who deep fries everything. Don't get me wrong. Deep fried is wonderful. Since I moved to Canada and met my husband, I've learned there's much more to cooking and food than I'd ever imagined. My husband is this incredible cook that I hate to admit kicks my butt when it comes to cooking. He's taught me that there's more to cooking than bacon drippings and salt and pepper. He's taught me about sesame oil, shrimp paste, REAL garlic, herbs, wild game, curries, sushi, escargot, tripe, and foods I'd never even heard of (thank the Lord for kimchi!). Anyway, I'm always looking on this site and I love it and I wanted to be a part of it too. I'm a nerd like that :o) Oh yeah, I wanna give a shout out to my step daughters (like they'll ever stumble across this). HI TASH AND RACH!! HAHAHAH...
