Homemade Vitamin Water

"It's no secret that vitamin-enhanced waters are loaded with calories, sugar and chemicals - which provides a short energy burst that only makes you crash later. Make a real energy drink at home for a fraction of the price. The fruit, herbs and veggies deliver a refreshing mix of vitamins and antioxidants that are proven to give you vital fuel. This recipe is from Chatelaine magazine and it's tasty! Please note that you are supposed to refrigerate it overnight. Enjoy!"

  1. This is a really great and refreshing flavored water! Not at all sweet (a good thing) although the fresh mint does provide a nice pleasant balance to the lemon and cucumber. Great after-workout or hot weather drink - thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. Rewarding water that tastes as good as it makes you feel! The flavor was light and refreshing making this a great beverage to drink with either a meal or just throughout the day. Thanks so much for the post am sure I will be enjoying often this summer.

  3. So delightful! I swear I felt all spa and zen-like... now if you could just send me over someone to massage my feet! Made for PAC Fall 2012

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
