In a pinch I make this and I add any number of seasonings ( cajun spices, fresh garlic, cracked pepper etc ) chopped fine veggies ( onions, bell peppers, pimentos ) to change the taste and to top baked potatoes, chip dip etc. yields 1 Cup, Prep time includes chill time.
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1⁄4 cup skim milk
- 3⁄4-1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or 3⁄4-1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Place ingredients into blender or hand mixer, blend till smooth.
This was great. I needed sour cream and did not have it. Live in the country and too far to go to buy it. Worked great. Margie
