    Home made baking powder

    Self Raising flour

    Directions:

    1. 1
      To make your own baking powder, add the ingredients to a jam jar or similar and shake well to mix.
    2. 2
      To make the self raising flour, add 1 tsp of the baking powder to 200g or 8 oz of plain flour and mix. That's it!

      I made a silly mistake & quickly copied this recipe onto another that needed self-rising flour. Don't make the same mistake I did & made both recipes into 1 & tried to make some bread. Not fun when you are cooking for 12 people & this happens!
