    Your clothes will come out soft without any detergent residue and will have a nice mild scent. Make smaller batches if you prefer to change the fragrance frequently.

      The vinegar makes a wonderful fabric softener, but be careful if you have, in particular, an LG front loader. I obviously spilled vinegar when filling up the rinse cup and over time it rusted out the spring on the door and the hinges had to be replaced. So I mention this as a gentle reminder to be careful where you pour the vinegar. I am going to purchase a rinse ball to use in the future.
