Nothing wrong with this at all!! I did find it to be quite "thick" right off the bat. I added a little white wine and all was well!! Great on a green salad. Thanks again Mirj.

Sorry to buck the tide of marvelous reviews here, but I thought the dressing was way too heavy on the mayo, a little bland, and a little too thick. I added a bunch of sour cream, some extra garlic and dill, and then it was somewhat better, but not my favorite. I'll be serving it to a bunch of people; maybe they will like it more than I do.

Absolutely perfect! I'm known at work for being a terrible cook, but everyone went crazy over this! I've never had anyone ask me for a recipe before!

The carb count in the side bar is way off. This has 1.2 net carbs per serving (using a 2.3 TBL serving). Some mayo has 56 g of carbs per cup and the USDA lists that amount - and it looks like RecipeZaar uses that figure, but the USDA also lists mayo with just 6 g per cup - which is hopefully what a low-carb dieter would be using.

Mirj, this dressing was outstanding! I needed Ranch dressing for a recipe, and this worked out just great! The only thing I changed was I added 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese to kick it up a notch LOL! The lemom in it just seems to brings out the flavor. I really don't think I will ever purchase the bottled kind anymore. Thanks so much for a wonderful recipe, I will make this again and again! Kittencal:)

Thank you sooo much for this wonderful recipe. Yummy yummy yummy !!! I used skim milk, light mayo (hellman's), and fat free sour cream. I also increased the amount of dill, garlic powder, and lemon juice (to taste). I also added black pepper, salt, and onion powder (to taste) and thinned it out to a more runny consistency and less mayo tasting with skim milk. Another idea would be to add bacon bits ... I don't think I will ever purchase commerical ranch dressing again ... why would I with a recipe like this? Thank you so much :)

By far the Best Ranch Dressing I've ever tasted! I grazed on a raw veggie plate for lunch, this dressing was perfect with it. You said you liked it with Latkes. I like to dip French Fried Potatoes in ranch with a dash or two of hot sauce mixed in. I don't care much for ketchup. THANX!
