  1. In a small pyrex measuring pitcher combine all ingredients.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Microwave for 50 seconds. Stir.
  4. Microwave for 50 seconds more or until mixture boils.
  5. Stir.
  6. Serve hot or let cool.

Also the reciepe can also be .5 tablespoon molasses 1cp sugar .5cp sugar mixed with .5 tblspoon of molasses is the equivalent of .5 cup brown sugar

**Update: I decreased the water to 1/3 cup and it was perfect consistency for my tastes.** Delicious! It was a bit runny, but the taste was wonderful, so I will be making again and will decrease the water next time. I made to go over Night Before Christmas French Toast. Thanks tcourto for a great recipe.

Awesome recipe! I wanted it to be a little more thick though. Perfect recipe for pancakes! I read the previous reviews, after I had made it, and someone said to add some butter and simmer it on the stove. I didn't that, and it tasted really good. So glad I came across this recipe.
