      My fiancee and I used this recipe on the weekend when we made brunch for his parents and kids. We added a bag of Europe's Best 4 Berry blend and ended up needing to thicken it with a little bit of corn starch, due to the added juice from the berries after they cooked, but this recipe was a great base for his already wonderful homemade syrup.

      Add a little whipped cream and you have a guaranteed kid pleaser!
