A tasty alternative to boxed mac and cheese.
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 (16 ounce) box noodles
- 2 cups cheddar cheese (or a mixture of cheeses)
- Melt butter in a large frying pan.
- Add 1 cup of milk and 1 Tbsp flour; stir until thick.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Cook and drain noodles.
- Add noodles to pan.
- Stir in 2 cups cheese and mix well.
- Place in baking dish, cover, and bake for 30 min at 350 degrees.
