This recipe uses lean ground beef so it is much healthier than what's in the market.
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons morton tender quick
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Mix all together & form into 2 or 3 rolls.
- Wrap in waxed paper.
- Let set in refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Remove wrap & bake on cookie sheet 1 hour at 300°F.
- Cool, wrap, & freeze.
- Thaw to serve.
