Homemade Greek Seasoning Mix
"This recipe was created for the Greece themed cooking day while I was teaching the 2013 "Cuisine Around the World" Cooking Elective for 3rd-5th graders at the Village Charter school."

ingredients
- 10 teaspoons oregano
- 4 teaspoons onion powder
- 5 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 4 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
directions
- In small bowl, whisk together all ingredients.
- Store in an air-tight container (I like to re-purpose empty spice jars).
- Keep on hand for seasoning homemade pita chips or ground meats. Use as a rub for steaks, lamb chops, or chicken pieces.

Hi! I am happily married with two children, 26 and 12. For nearly 10 years when this site was Recipezaar and then Food.com I hosted several different forums. I enjoyed making, creating, reviewing, and photographing recipes, but what I miss the most are the friendships I made here.
