  1. cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and place into an air tight container.
  2. mince garlic, ginger, and add to chicken followed by soy sauce, sesame oil, the 1bsp. sugar, and black pepper and marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
  3. combine flour and cornstarch into a resealable bag and shake well.
  4. beat eggs into a separate dish.
  5. in a medium bowl mix remaining ingredients of garlic, ginger,sambal, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and sweet chili sauce.
  6. heat oil in skillet to about 350 degrees.
  7. dip each piece of chicken into egg allowing it to drip off.
  8. dredge each piece in flour and cornstarch mixture shaking off excess.
  9. drop into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  10. in a separate pan add sauce mixture and heat slowly.
  11. as chicken pieces are done frying add to sauce and toss gently.
  12. continue until all pieces are fried and sauced.
  13. enjoy.

I am in the process of making it now and my only thing is that I wish you separated the ingredients needed to marinate the chicken from the ingredients for the sauce. It reads very confusing for someone that really doesn't cook much but that wanted to try this recipe.
