    multitasker's Note:

This sauce is based off of another here on the site. I added a bit of my own twist to it and it is delicious. I hope you will try it. I use this everytime I make my homemade shredded beef enchiladas. Enjoy.

This recipe is very good, very easy and no fat. I also agree that it is very cheep. I too added fresh garlic, but added a little more salt. I am already trying to think of other things I can use it in.

This is the best enchilada sauce recipe I've ever tried. Easy to make without too many ingredients. Yummy!

I will never buy canned enchilada sauce again. This was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I used fresh crushed garlic + salt for the garlic salt. This was so easy to make. I did the math on this: 1 (10 oz) can of enchi sauce at the store is $1.29. With this recipe you get 4 cups (32 oz) of sauce for just pennies more than the 30 cents you spend on the can of generic tomato sauce. I used this sauce for your delicious Shredded Beef Enchiladas Thanx for posting!
