Excellent Recipe, Simple, Quick & Easy, and most of all, very popular with my girls! Did the recipe exactly as is with only 1 exception, I only made them 1/4 inch thick. One of my girls is a 16 year old Dalmatian and "Hard & Crunchy" doesn't cut if for her. Surprisingly these came out chewy, which she has no problem with. Not sure if it was because I made them thinner, used Gerber beef baby food, a kitchen-aid mixer, or insulated baking sheets.
A three inch bone shaped cookie cutter yielded a little over 40 biscuits. (photo posted on this recipe for view)

My dog loves these biscuits. I cut back on the salt.. used only one jar of chicken baby food... and used 1/2 butter and 1/2 oil. I made two different sizes of biscuits. Small for my sister's Yorkie and bigger for my miniature Australian Shepherd.

Oh my gosh, my dog went crazy over these! Leroy, my yorkie, acted like he couldn't get enough from one bite to the next! The best part about them is that when you buy ready made treats you don't know exactly all that's in them but, when you make them yourself you know they're getting the best! Thanks Shannon for a great recipe!

My dogs loved these!!! I don't feel so bad giving these treats to them more often because I know exactly whats in them. Just be careful of what baby food you choose. Gerber incorporates onion powder in many of their varieties, and dogs CANNOT have onions in any form. Just a heads up. I used Beechnut baby food and they use real pureed foods with no added spices.

These were a huge hit for the 4 legged members of our family!! I made 4 batches of these as gifts for all the dogs in our family. I made several varieties, including: Lamb and veggie stew, (I used two jars of the lamb, and one jar of Veggie stew) Also Turkey and Sweet Potatoes, and Veggie Beef. When I took them out of the oven, all three of my dogs were standing around waiting.. We have 22 dogs (ranging in size from 120 lb Golden Retriever to a 4 lb Yorkie)in our whole family, and all of them LOVE these treats!!

Our dogs preferred them to regular milkbones by far, and I now get tailed every time I go to the kitchen... I used a sweet potato turkey puree and had to add a cup of flour for this to turn out right, but I love that you can customize the size to fit the dog!
