It was great! I only had sliced pepperoni and I chopped it. The final result in the bread was tiny pepperoni flecks throughout vs the bigger pieces like the photo shows. The bread was tasty. I didn't have plain oregano so I used italian seasoning and it was really good. Initially I was worried that the pepperoni flavor would be strong but it wasn't. It was the perfect way to give the bread a little extra flavor. We served it hot with butter. Yum! This recipe is a keeper.
I thought this was a great recipe. I used cheddar instead of mozzarella (since it's all I had at the time) and used a whole cup to increase the cheeziness factor. Otherwise, I kept everything else the same. The bread came out soft and chewy in the center and crusty on the outside. So yummy! The pepperoni has a tendancy to shrink up a little bit in the bread during the baking, so I might cut it in larger pieces next time so it's more visible...but the fantastic pepperoni flavor is still definitely there...thanks for sharing!
My family can eat an entire loaf of this bread as soon as it's out of the machine. Believe me, it doesn't stay on the counter long at ALL. Thank you for posting this delicious recipe!
I made this yesterday, and it was really tasty. I used pre-sliced pepperoni that I cut into shreds like the cheese. They got all chopped up by the bread machine and each bit of bread had pepperoni in it. This is a really hearty bread. I will definitely make this one again. I used AP flour with no problem.
We thought this bread was okay. Like another poster said, it seemed to lack something.
I am a newbie bread maker, and I found this so easy and it was perfect. By far the best loaf I have ever made! I too did not have garlic salt so I took someone's suggestion to use salt and garlic powder. I'm already making my second loaf <3 Yummy!
I absolutely love this bread! I just throw the pepperoni in after a few minutes of mixing, but I haven't had any troubles with that yet. This bread is delicious and never lasts more than a day in our house.
I liked this bread, but it just didn't have the flavor I was looking for. Even my boys commented on it lacking something. They said they couldn't taste the pepperoni or cheese, so maybe next time I will add more. I fixed this to serve with spaghetti. I think I will stick with your Pepperoni and Mozerralla Money Bread, OMG is that one delicious!
