I was a little confused in the beginning, so I ended up putting it through a sieve after shaking it. It took a while before I got that buttery texture. I added salt, freshly ground four couloured pepper, and some ground chipotle to make it spicy.

  1. Pour cream into a jar. Shake until separated.
  2. Drain off any extra liquid.
  3. Fold in your favorite spices or salt.
  4. Store in a airtight container in the refrigerator.
  5. Let harden in the refrigerator.
