  1. I made this on the stove also. I'm not sure what use the oil has, as it doesn't mix too well with the rest. The flavor was a bit too tangy, maybe the lemon juice. I would try reducing that next time. Made for 123 Tag.

  2. This is a nice thick sauce. DD & DH loved it, but it wasn't my favorite. It had too much mustard for me (not really a yellow mustard fan). I would make this again because I like making sauces and salad dressing from scratch because I can control the ingredients. Next time I will reduce the amount of mustard. I also like the fact that it cooked on the counter and didn't have to be tended to. Thanks for posting this WC. Made for Potluck Tag.

  3. I cooked this on the stove top, rather than slow cooker, simmering gently for about 30 mins, and adding a little water when it got a little thick. It turned out really well, and the whole family enjoyed it. made for 1-2-3 Hits.

  4. LOVE the method, but the sauce was too tangy and needed more "spices" for me. I did swap out the salt for rib rub. I am not sure if the tang came from lemon or mustard. . .it's a toss up. I will doctor this up and serve it this weekend. Thanks for sharing, as I will definitely use a crock pot for future BBQ sauces.

  5. This was a nice sauce. We had it with chicken tonight. DH said he would rather not have any bits of onion in his sauce, other then that he loved the flavor. I would have liked a bit of a spicy bite but then the kids would not have liked it. All in all a good recipe... I will tuck it away in my crock pot file. Made and reviewed for the 29th AUS/NZ Recipe Review.
