I made this to add to baby gift basket (made from a plastic tub for babies) for a friend along with other items such as a thermometer, mini food processor, blanket set, bath set, baby books, and even a bath oil set for the mom for her moments to re-coup. I think this recipe really tops off the basket well, and will give the new mom confidence to try healthy recipes for her baby and how simple it is to make it homemade. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :)

Simply genius. :D I needed something to eat, but I couldn't eat with severe tooth pain on both sides of my face. As an adult I've quite often eaten baby food as a snack or meal replacement when my tummy acts up or my teeth act up. This was a simple and cheaper way to make baby-style oatmeal. I appreciate your posting this. Btw, I added a bit of Smart Balance with Flaxseed Oil Spread, brown sugar, and maple syrup to my serving. Will make this again, thanks! :)
