Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 4 -5 large potatoes
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil


  1. Peel and cube potatoes.
  2. Cook in oil in covered skillet, turning often about 5 minutes.
  3. Add onions, salt and pepper to taste and continue to cook over l ow heat until potatoes are almost cooked, turning often.
  4. Remove cover and continue cooking until well browned and slightly crisped.

This is cooking 101...very basic and simple. This is one of the first things I learned to fix growing up. We didn't chop or cube the onions & potatoes, everything was sliced. Awesome with Fried Pork Chops or Cutlets and Cream Pan Gravy. YUMMMM!!
