This is my grandmother's recipe for a side dish we served at every Thanksgiving dinner. It is sweet and cold, and contrasts well with the turkey and dressing!

  1. Drain pineapple, and save juice.
  2. Prepare Jello according to package directions, and refrigerate 10 minutes, until semi-solid.
  3. Mix 1 cup of marshmallows, drained pineapple, celery, cut-up cream cheese and pecans into Jello.
  4. Carefully fold in whipped cream.
  5. Place in serving dish.
  6. Heat pineapple juice with flour until thickened.
  7. Add 1 cup marshmallows to hot pineapple juice and stir until smooth. Let cool.
  8. Top the whipped cream-pineapple mixture with the cooled marshmallow-juice mixture. Chill.
