A co-worker gave me this recipe over 15 years ago and I make it for parties all the time. It makes a LARGE ball so I usually break it up into 3 smaller balls and freeze some. - Bring cheeses to room temperature.
- Mix together Worcestershire, Tabasco, garlic, pepper and 1/2 cup pecans.
- Mix thoroughly with cheeses& chill for at least 2 hours.
- Roll ball of cheese in the parsley/pecan mixture.
My mom used to make cheeseballs all the time when she entertained, but I couldn't stand them. I have started to like them as I have gotten older, and this one is different than the same old mix. It has a little kick, and, of course, is quick and easy to make for a last minute party appetizer.
