Hoda's Cucumber-Yogurt With Dill

I asked my friend Hoda what this dish is called and she told me in Persian. I said, "what does that mean?" "Cucumbers and Yogurt." Well, okay.

Ingredients:

Servings: 6

• 32 ounces plain yogurt
• 1 large cucumber, peeled and diced (about .5 cm size)
• 1 -2 tablespoon dried dill
• 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Directions:

1. Combine all and chill while the dill softens up and flavors the dish.

Very good. Great for summer. I would say that the recipe makes twice as much if you are serving it as a side.

This was a good tzatziki sauce. I'm used to some garlic flavor and usually grated cucumbers, but this was a good recipe. I used an english cucumber so did not need to peel. Served with Grilled Greek Chicken Breasts and Won't You Be My Gyro Chicken Panini Reviewed for PAC 2008.
