  1. This recipe is very tasty, quick and easy. I made this for my boyfriend to eat during the week, while I'm at work and he loved it. I made a few revisions to the recipe, I omitted the celery and added 3/4 of a packet of Lipton's Onion Soup mix. I also added about a teaspoon of garlic salt and black pepper for seasoning. I plan on making this recipe in advance for a quick and easy meal.

  2. This a great recipe for those who want little prep time, but big flavor. I did add an envelope of Lipton's Onion soup mix to the meat before forming into patties. I also omitted the celery as my husband detest it. I didn't measure out the Worchestershire sauce I just gave a few good shakes. We will definitely add this to our weekly or bi-weekly meal rotation. Thanks so much for submitting a great recipe! Oh! This is also very inexpensive. I think I got 8 servings per this recipe and I figured it cost me roughly .75 to $1 per serving. That is pretty good in my book.

  3. I thought the kids would like these hobo burgers, that they'd be fun to eat- but it was my hubby who was raving about how great they were! I mixed in 1/2 packet onion soup mix into my hamburger patties, and only used about 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce per burger- we cooked ours in the oven. Fabulous- will definately make this again!

  4. We make something very similar to this and the kids LOVE it. I think it's probably their favorite meal. We don't shape our meat into patties, we just break it up and put in in the foil with all the other stuff. We also usually offer minced garlic for them to put in their "hobo dinners". Then we like to cook them on the grill. Makes a great meal!

I am a stay at home Mom of 4 great kids, 13, 10, 5, 1. I am happily married to my wonderful husband of 10 years, been together much longer, lol. I love to cook, bake etc..., especially in the winter, I live in the kitchen. I bought my house so that the living room and kitchen are together, that way I can be in the kitchen and still spend time with my family and watch all of my reality shows, lol. My kids keep so busy with all of their sports, but I also love to scrapbook, make primitive furniture and decorate.
