A friend of mine in Maine shared this with me and I was floored that it tasted just like the hoagies I used to enjoy when I lived in the Philadelphia area. This a great party or picnic food. Leftovers are good for sandwiches, bruscetta or on top of salad.

  1. Cut cheese and meats into small cubes.
  2. Chop pepper, onion, tomato and add to meat mixture.
  3. Add enough oil to coat.
  4. Salt, pepper and season to taste.
  5. Add lettuce just prior to serving or serve separately on side.
  6. Serve with small dinner rolls, sliced italian bread or crackers.
